Da' Body

No, we're not talking about good ol' Jesse.

Concerns surrounding the human body reach into many areas of society, from the biological sciences, to industrial design, to theology, to politics, and so on.  It is in this context that the third exhibition of the WSU Shift Space, titled The Body as Figure, Self, Culture, takes a varied look at issues of body confronted in our daily lives. The work of the following WSU students and faculty will be featured:  Ted Adler, Amanda Dickson, Aaron Englund, Debi Kaufman, Jamie O’Leary, Cynthia Martinez, Paul McKee, Matthew Miller, Jennie Mosher, Dagan Sherman, Ryan Soper, and Kevin Ware.

A reception will be held on Final Friday, November 25, 2005 from 6 to 10 p.m.  The exhibition will continue to run through December 10, 2005.  Hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Thursdays, 4 to 9 p.m. Fridays, and 12 to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
