Wichita State University Shift Space Gallery Hosts Happily Ever After: An Art Exhibition and Benefit for PALS Animal Rescue
Wichita State University's Shift Space Gallery will host Happily Ever After: An Art Exhibition and Benefit for PALS Animal Rescue. Organized by Wichita State University Assistant Professor of Art History, Dr. Annette LeZotte and WSU School of Art and Design alumnus Heidi Marcinik, the exhibit will run from Friday, October 27, 2006 through Saturday, November 11, 2006.
Works displayed will explore themes related to both the necessity for rescue organizations such as PALS in contemporary society as well as the mission of PALS to carefully match the personalities of animals with the lifestyles of their potential families to create a successful living environment for both pets and people.
A Final Friday gallery reception will take place from 6:00 to 11:00 PM on Friday, October 27th and will feature a silent auction of animal themed artworks with proceeds going to PALS Animal Rescue. The reception is free and open to the public but a $5 donation at the door is suggested. WSU Shift Space Gallery is located at 326 S. Commerce, Wichita, KS.
