New Place, New Semester

Okay everybody, it's been awhile but it looks like we're going to be up and running again this semester for a full season of shows and other extraboganzas.  If you haven't heard we have officially moved to a new location at 803 E. 3rd Street; it's easy to find, it's the street just north of the Warren in Old Town, in a white cinder-block building on the northeast corner or 3rd and Mead.

So, you may be wondering what's going to be happening over the next couple of semesters, and luckly I have a schedule for you:

August 31, 2007 - John Hammer's MFA Show

September 28 - The Participants: curated by Annie Strader

October 25 - Fundraiser (if it's half as good as the last one we did it should be quite an event)

November 2 through 16 - Conan Y. Fugit and Aaron Vague, snapline installation preview

November 30, State Faculty Exhibition:  curated by Dr. Royce W. Smith (all state faculty artists invited to submit work)

December 28 - a surprise (maybe)

January 25, 2008 - Performance show including live performances by WIchita State fine arts graduate and undergraduate students throughout the month as well as video performances shown daily

February 29 - Graduate student exchange show with the University of Kansas

March 29 - River City Biennale (student edition)

April 25 - Wired III:  Art & Technology

I'm sure there'll be a few more events announced during this timespan, so make sure to check the blog regularly.
