April and May are going to be very exciting months at WSU SHIFTSPACE. Here is what we have in store for you:
This Friday, April 18th, is the closing reception for Happy Trails, a show of North Texas ceramicists. The reception is from 7pm to 10pm.
Final Friday, April 25th brings the CRATEL group to WSU SHIFTSPACE with the show Wired III: Please Wait. The reception is 6pm-10pm.
Here is an excerpt from their show statement:
In Wired III: Please Wait, students in WSU's Technology: Art and Sound by Design course explore the symbiotic relationship between people and machines. Engineering and audio art students explore sound, light, familiar and unfamiliar imagery to envelop participants in an exploration of machines and machinery in our lives.
Friday, May 2nd is the reception for Kevin Kelly's MFA show. More information is forthcoming.
Friday the 9th and the 16th will each feature graduating Wichita State BFA and BA students. The receptions will be from 5pm-7pm. More information is forthcoming.
On Final Friday, May 30th, WSU SHIFTSPACE presents the student section of the River City Biennale highlighting a sampling of Wichita State University students. More information is forthcoming.
